1. How often should I buy a new mattress?

The industry average is every 8-10 years, while the Better Sleep Council recommends every 5-7 years.  The majority of the mattresses made at Joplimo Mattress are built to last anywhere between 15-25 years.  Durability depends on the quality of the materials used, the overall design, and the typical use of the mattress set.e mattress set.

2. What is the best mattress?

There is no such thing as one perfect mattress. Every person is different and has their own unique wants, needs, and desires in addition to the basics of proper support and comfort. Our Joplimo sleep specialists have been trained to help you find your perfect personalized solution. All of our mattresses have been designed to address the most important aspects everyone should have so that they can have a good night’s sleep, so the only thing left to do is address any specific requests and help you choose the mattress that is most comfortable to you that provides you with the best support for your body type and sleep style.

3. When will I know what time my mattress will be delivered?

You will receive a call the night before your delivery date from our contracted delivery service to create an appointment within a two-hour delivery window for you for the next day.

4. Can I use my existing box spring or foundation?

It is best to purchase a new mattress with a matching foundation to ensure that your mattress will receive the proper support it needs to last the duration of its warranty period. In many cases, a manufacturer will void the warranty if the mattress not used on a matching foundation. However, every mattress at Joplimo Mattress is built to be used with or without a matching foundation as long as the foundation used offers adequate support.

5. Where can I buy sheets to fit thicker mattresses?

You can purchase deep pocket sheets at Joplimo Mattress as well as deep pocket mattress covers.

6. Is my mattress able to be placed on an adjustable foundation?

Almost every mattress at Joplimo Mattress is designed to be used with your choice of a regular or adjustable foundation, which gives you one of the largest selection of adjustable friendly mattresses in the industry.

7. When will I know when my mattress is available for pick up?

You will receive a call before 5pm the day your mattress is scheduled for pick up by a representative at Joplimo Mattress. Our store hours are 10am-8pm Monday through Saturday and Noon-6pm Sunday.

8. What do I need to bring with me to pick up my mattress from Joplimo?

You will need to bring a copy of your sales receipt. We provide twine to tie down your mattress set if you do not have your own tie downs or rope.

9. How do you modify mattresses to be softer or firmer?

Mattress layers can be rearranged to establish various feels and can also be replaced with higher or lower density foams if needed to create a difference in feel of 10-15% of the original feel.

10. How do I request a comfort modification?

There is a form under the customer service section of this website that you can complete to request a comfort modification.  A member of our Joplimo team will then be in contact with you to arrange an appointment at our factory.

11. Can adjustable foundations be covered by insurance?

Yes. The purchaser will need to file the claim with Medicare or their insurance company under the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) code: DME # E0294: Hospital bed, semi-electric (head and foot adjustment), without side rails, with mattress. Accompanying this DME code, the purchaser must provide their physician’s prescription for an adjustable bed and paid receipt for the adjustable bed to Medicare or their insurance company.  It is encouraged to confirm this with medicare or the insurance company before making a purchase.
